Qwertee, please please PLEASE make sure that the female version of this t-shirt isn't released in an ugly colour.
Ugh, no! Why blue? Qwertee, you're killing the point of the parchment design by putting the girl's shirt in baby blue. This isn't the first time that the girl's color has completely put me off of a sale. Thousand Needles, for example, was a lovely cactus green shirt print... for men. But while that was a personal preference, I see this as completely missing the point and destroying what should have been amazing. So consider this my strongly worded letter: I will not stand for this. Give me awesome colors or give me nudity!

Why. Why the HELL did you have to do this to the girl one ??? What did we do to deserve this stupid colour that completely destroys the point of the Da Vinci-esque design ??! If you don't want to make women's clothes look good, at least put on an option for a XXS man so we can shop a decent tee !
I think that the problem Qwertee have with women's t-shirts is their stockists. They have a limited amount of colours and have to buy in bulk before the shirt even goes on sale. I can understand your problem with the colouring, but it really isn't that bad and a small might shrink enough in the wash to fit like an XS. I don't think it's Qwertee's fault as such, they're just not able to always get the perfect colour in time.
Of course its Qwetee's fault. I love this site, but they choose when they put shirts up and when a color is central to a design it matters. Also, its not the same buying a small mens shirt and then shrinking it because it is the cut of the shirt that is important.
i much prefer the cut of the girls tees so its not as easy as just buying the dudes version when the girls colour is crap.. these should always be released in male/female matching colours, there has never been an instance where the girls colour has looked amazing and the boys colour has looked crap, girls dont want leonardortal tshirts on blue, or kelly green vs khaki green its just not the same.
Heh. As much as I preferred the men's shirt color for the Thousand Needles design, my brother liked the color for the girl cut shirts... To each their own and whatnot...
Still, regardless of the fact that the men's shirt color is generally a nicer one, people are less likely to complain about shirt colors when they don't see an alternative sitting RIGHT THERE.
I have to agree with the girls complaining about the different colours... We are geeks too and deserve decent colours!
Honestly, ladies, I can understand you being upset seing the design you voted for and like on a different colour, this has happened to a few designs I've voted for, but maybe the company Qwertee get their shirts from don't stop women's in these colours.
Also, I actually quite like the blue...

Sorry to not be able to offer the shirt in the same colour for both but it's not possible. The manufacturers of the shirts don't make a women's sand coloured shirt.
We gave the designer a few options and they went for light blue as a compromise, the alternative might have been white or sports grey, both of which would have looked worse.
We're in the process of getting our own shirts made which will allow us to have the same colour in both mens and womens but till then we can't print on colours that don't exist.
We understand it's frustrating but there is not much we can do about it at the moment!
For those that really want the shirt on sand have a look at the mens/unisex small dimensions, it is pretty small so might be an option.

I love this design. I'm happy I buy mens/unisex t-shirts anyway because I wouldn't go for the light blue. The sand looks much better with this design, although I do understand it isn't Qwertee's fault.

Oddly enough, I actually prefer the blue, and I would get it if it was in that color for guys... but alas it is not. So I get the whole problem and such with other people preferring the reverse. =P I get the parchment idea and all but I honestly just enjoy the blue color more, it's a nicer color
I love this shirt, and if the men's were baby blue, I'd still buy it. Sorry to the ladies who are annoyed, but I think this was the best choice given the circumstances...Qwertee has to get shirts out every 48 hours, like they promised, and sometimes its not easy to find designs that will sell, and please a large crowd. I understand their reasoning, and maybe someday, they'll reprint this lovely piece!

Ladies, why not just get a mens t-shirt then cut it up? Get rid of the sleeves, neckline and tack in the sides with some needle and thread? Takes a few minutes and you get a snazzy t-shirt that you've made your own. I've done this with a few and I prefer them to the womens versions :)
Looks like I won't be buying it afterall, due to money issues. :(
