About this Tee

I imagined one day we would see Back to the Future as an anime from Japan with a similar style to Mega Man. One can only dream I suppose....

About CoDdesigns

Hi everybody.

I've been a graphic designer in the fashion industry for over 5 years now. One day in the near future I hope to have my own clothing line. Until then I am having a ton of fun designing humorous mash-ups and other license boundary pushing graphic t-shirt art!

If you like my art then please visit my portfolio! Leave some kind feedback too! Thanks.

Love this, will buy instantly, prefer another colour than blue though! Hope it gets printed.

In order to keep color layers to a bare minimum I dropped his pants color out and the only other Qwertee color that works is Royal Blue. Other wise Brown would be weird with the rest of the colors. Sorry!

If enough people say they prefer Royal Blue then I'm sure Qwertee could fix that easily :)

Nice going with this design - I'm definitely a fan!

However, as a student of Japanese, the kanji you have aren't quite correct. While "chairo" for brown is perfect, if you want to refer to Doc Brown, given the nature of Japanese the "Dr." honorific becomes a suffix. Furthermore, because there's only one suffix for those honoured as teachers or doctors, you would use the generic "-sensei" suffix. Therefore the correct iteration would be "Chairo-sensei", written as 茶色先生. If you really, really wanted to keep the "doctor-ness" of the design, instead of sensei you would most likely use "isha", not "ishi" as you have above, and the design would be written "chairo-isha" or 茶色医者.

Sorry to be so nitpicky but I hope I helped!

It helps thanks. My friend said it translated fine but more like Doctor Chisu (or the brown color of tea). However I don't think I want to change it at this point. I have a lot of votes I could lose. Plus I don't see an edit work option ... If I could edit the shirt and post a new one with the same votes that would be cool.

Katakana would have been a way better choice for Doc Brown.
Something like ドク・ブラウン . I could not buy it because of the
transcr*ption you use. It is wrong in so many ways.
ブラウン博士 is the way he is called in the Japanese version.
Everything else is wrong. If you want to have four Japanese /
Chinese charakters please use the Chinese version: 布朗博士
But your choice is really, really bad.
