Love the design, but definitely agree it should be Stakehouse instead of Steakhouse.

I like the 'Buffy's Stakehouse' idea, and congrats on getting printed. But I don't understand the “fresh meat – served daily”. It has no relationship to the show that I can tell (certainly not to vampires as they are not 'meat' after being staked, they are dust), so it doesn’t seem to make sense in that context. Unless the whole phrase is slang far removed from what one might think of in context of the show (e.g. "fresh meat" is supposed to be referring to 'never-before-seen' vampire or demon), combined with the term 'getting served' as an equivalent to 'pwned'. If that is the case: the effort involved with the tee design to 'get it' seems excessive for such an otherwise straightforward and clever idea.

It's not a literal reference. It's a mash up of, hypothetically, if Buffy owned a restaurant, where there would be fresh meat to be eaten, and a play on the word 'stake'/'steak' since she's a vampire slayer.

If the shirt is voted for then who cares about meaning behind it, love obscure references!! The more obscure the better!! Well done lonelyrainbows :-)

The reason I commented was because there are so many things that were show-related that could have been used. The first one that comes to mind is, "Decor totally revamped!" Another, "real silver tableware". And then, since many restaurants now require someone to ask for water, possibly in very small letters at the bottom, "Iced Holy Water by request." But obviously there are a lot more.

I think the idea is clever, but I was just commenting to let the designer know for the future that there are ways to 'push' a concept to make it even more enjoyable.

1. The simplicity or minimalism of a design is what can make it great rather than over-thinking it.
2. It is best to only criticize a design when the designers themselves invite people to do so.
3. Feel free to submit your own work
