I like to design t shirts. Some of them are pretty okay, if I do say so myself.
More HHGTTG shirts please!
Yes to this!

This is by far the best T shirt I have seen on here. I am in love with it and I am just thinking about the bowl of petunias.

Oh I like today's design. I LOVE it! In fact, I like it so much I bought the cooler version of it on your competitor's site 3 months ago.
If your policy is to silence people who point out a blatant ripoff, then I guess I could be spending my money elsewhere (and I spend plenty on your shirts).

Listen. I had never seen that design before I made this shirt. Seeing it now, yes, it's similar, but don't you dare accuse me of lifting the idea off of someone else. If you like the other one better, fine. Wear your shirt. But don't think for a microsecond that I ripped it off.
Consider this: Sir Isaac Newton and Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz both developed differential and integral calculus. Separately. If two men could both come to the same conclusions regarding higher math, is it really any stretch of the imagination that two different people could come up with the same basic idea for a t-shirt?
Use some logic before you chastise people for intellectual theft.
Just ordered - Brilliant

Oh I'm accusin'!
You really have GOT to be kidding me! "Similar"?!? It's nearly IDENTICAL aside from the addition of the gold heart! The shape of the numbers, the color, the style of illustrations... At least the original artist, Gabriel Pyle, came up with his own imagery. You needed to lift yours from the BBC, the book covers, and the movie.
And yeah, it's a HUGE stretch to think that these two mind-numbingly similar shirts would have been released THREE MONTHS APART. The daily nerd shirt world is a tiny microcosm. I refuse to believe you never saw that shirt (and neither would any of you "You tell him, gurl!" defenders if you actually saw it).
Newton you aint. More like Edison.
Yes, good artists borrow and great ones steal. But the best at least wait until the corpse is cold.

Fine. Here's the proof:
I have a version of that design saved from May 14th of this year. Here is a screenshot because I don't think you'll believe me.

The shirt you mention went up on July 17, 2 months later. The date is right on the page. I won't link to it because it's against the rules.
If you really want to know where I got the idea for this shirt, it was Whovian, uploaded on t**f*ry a few months back. I liked the style, and adapted it for my own purposes. Sue me.
I could go into how the rest of your argument is flawed, but this, I think, is sufficient. If you still think I stole the design, there's no hope I can change your mind. I'll just have to live with you being wrong.
Hey. That thing on the bottom of the four with the "AAAAHHHH" speech bubble, is that the total perspective vortex?

No, that's a door sighing in relief- the total perspective vortex is represented in part by the galaxy on the 2 saying "you are here." I couldn't draw the entire universe, so I only included one galaxy.
