JulgaTH - I think the cut off of the bottom sentence is more a consequence of loss of quality through converting to jpg than a problem in the actual design - I have double checked and it's fine in the psd file.

This shirt has to be made.

Sorry if it seems I only point out flaws. I only want the designs to look their best.
I really like the designs you make to the point that, if I see new "by paulychilds", I instantly take a look at them. Not being a brown-nose.. I just recognize a good designer when I see it.

This looks great- my only gripe is you left out the Harry Potter 'Dumbledore Dies' spoiler.
Thing is still quoted when people ask for 'no spoilers.' :)

Anyways, design is great, and I'd buy it simply because BladeRunner and The Prestige are on the same awesome shirt.

I thought about that, but for me the big reveal of HP2 was far more surprising than HP6. I really didn't see it coming whereas Dumbledore's demise was heavily foreshadowed and built up to. I think my second choice may have been for HP7 Part 2 and would have said something like "Snape was good all along and was protecting Harry because he he felt guilty about the Potters being killed."

It's a good idea but you have got some really crappy films on that list :s

The idea is that they are all films with surprise endings - so I was fairly limited in my choice.

As a Doctor Who podcaster, I truly appreciate this shirt.

Awesome idea, but I think that it would be more efficient without the exclamation marks. Well, still, it gets my vote. :)

Whether to include the exclamation marks or not was a consideration. I chose them in the end for symmetry. I guess if Qwertee choose it they will know what is best for the design.

It think the idea is awesome and I'd love to see this printed, but it's got a mistake. The first exclamation mark in Spoiler alert should be excluded :)

Even if it's for symmetry. Maybe you should put the Spoiler alert bigger.

The extra exclamation mark was supposed to reflect how some languages have one either side of an exclamation - it was there deliberately - but I decided to ditch it when Qwertee asked me for the master files so they can print it in a couple of weeks because it didn't look quite right.

The problem with making the big words even bigger is that the tiny words become almost completely unreadable when they are shrunk down to accommodate this (the Qwertee sumbission guide only allows for a certain surface area so you have to be choosy with your space).

Hi Dmt2004 - It was a simple case of thinking of as many movies as I could, which I have seen, with surprise endings - some are plot twists (Usual Suspects, Sixth Sense) and some are just not what the viewer hoped would happen (Rocky, Night Of The Living Dead).

Needs to read/watch some of these.

Or you could just buy the shirt and then you don't have to ;-)

pauly, they all seem good, whether or not i like the movie itself, but Field of Dreams wasn't really a twist ending, and i don't really consider any of the harry potter movies to have them, but that one is more acceptable as just being my opinion.
regardless, i'm buying one. i love to mess with people.

Field of Dreams is not a twist ending but there is still a mystery to be solved and the when Ray finds out the reason why he built the diamond the audience is as surprised as he is - hence the descr*ption says Plot Twists and Surprise Endings - and therefore still a spoiler. You are right about Harry Potter - It's more about well placed Chekov's Guns than true surprises. Glad you like it - hope it doesn't get you into too much trouble :)

That's not actually true about Murder on the Orient Express. It wasn't that he couldn't prove it, it's that he (well, Monsieur Bouc, but really Poirot) decided that they should essentially be allowed to "get away with it" and the blame would be put on some mysterious mafia person who does not actually exist (and therefore cannot be named).
